Erin Tower (FORHP)

Hello, my name is Erin Towner! I have lived all over the rural U.S.: Alaska, West Virginia, North Dakota, Wyoming, and Minnesota. My personal experiences inform my work at the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) in the Federal Office of Rural Health Policy, where I’m a health equity and Indigenous health subject matter expert. I earned an undergraduate anthropology degree and an MPH at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. Before coming to HRSA, I was a Peace Corps volunteer in Tanzania. My professional interests include health equity, culturally competent healthcare, working with marginalized communities, harm reduction, sexual health, zoonotic disease, and vector-borne disease. I currently serve as a project officer for the RCORP Implementation II cohort and as the program coordinator for the RCORP Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome cohort. In my free time, I love to run, read, hike, camp, and take advantage of all the cultural events in DC.
