Kamu Aysola serves as a Project Coordinator for the FY2020 RCORP Implementation Cohort with 91 grantees across 38 states. As a Project Coordinator, she helps to determine deliverables and the overall vision for the implementation program. She also participates on the FORHP Health Equity Workgroup to ensure that staff have the tools and resources to write Notice of Funding Opportunities that are readable and accessible for a diverse applicant pool.

Prior to FORHP, Kamu served as a Public Health Analyst with the Office of Intergovernmental and External Affairs (formerly known as the Office of Regional Operations), coordinating and executing various cross-cutting events and programs across the Agency. Before coming to HRSA, Kamu was a Senior Program Associate with the Children’s Defense Funding, evaluating a summer and after school reading program for underserved children across the country.  She holds an MPH from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine and a BS from Michigan State University. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, reading, dining in fabulous restaurants, and spending time with her family.
