This webinar provided an overview of the statute and regulations of 42 CFR, Part 2, the federal regulations for confidentiality of substance use records. It provided a brief history of the statute and its original purpose, and the three major revisions to the regulations. It covered the changes to the statute that were made as part of the CARES Act last year and its impact on providers. It covered the issue of applicability of the regulations as they have evolved over the three major revisions.

This session will walk through the strategic plan template provided by JBS International in the Grantee Onboarding Packet for HRSA RCORP-Planning Grantees. During this workshop style webinar, facilitators will walk grantees through the template section by section, discussing the required elements and providing examples of each section. Grantees will learn how to use their data to determine problem statements, goals, objectives, and outcomes for their strategic plan as well as how to include metrics to successfully track their progress.

The MOUD Best Practices Webinar series takes a person-centered, outcomes-focused approach to presenting and discussing best practices in the use of medication for opioid use disorder (MOUD), starting with client engagement and initiation of MOUD, patient stabilization and retention in MOUD, and supporting recovery during MOUD. The focus of each presentation in the series will be on the application of best practices to meet your community’s goals for each of the three topic areas, including adapting them to your local resources while maintaining fidelity to their evidence base.
At the conclusion of Session 1, participants will be able to: describe specific best practices related to engagement and initiation of MOUD, connect best practices to the community’s outcomes and goals and adapt best practices to local needs and resources while maintaining fidelity to the evidence base.

This webinar described the unique role of peer support specialists in the CDC-funded pilot project Reducing Overdose After Release from Incarceration (ROAR). The ROAR pilot combines provision of medication for opioid use disorder with support from Oregon Certified Recovery Mentors (CRMs) to reduce overdose risk among women released from prison.

This webinar provided information on the complications of SUD in pregnancy, along with methods for effective intervention and management for clinicians and collaborators.
