Materials from the Strategies for Engaging Your Community During the Pandemic webinar held on May 19, 2020 are below. During this session, Chris Davis, from Community Partnership of the Ozarks, shared lessons learned in Joplin, Missouri, after they were hit by a deadly EF-5 tornado in May 2011 resulting in over 3,300 injuries and 162 deaths. Sharlene Johnson, from Upriver Youth Leadership Council, shared how a community coalition in rural Idaho modified their prevention strategies and implemented innovative approaches to ensure their youth and community remain engaged and connected during this pandemic.
