ONDCP released a new tool to assist rural community leaders in building an effective local response to the crisis of addiction, the Rural Community Action Guide: Building Stronger, Healthy Drug-Free Rural Communities. The Guide also has a companion supplement, a listing of promising practices, included.

Attendees learned how to (1) engage community stakeholders from each of the 12 sectors and (2) evidence-based practices to not only inform, but to reduce stigma and to create open dialogue as it relates to SUD.

The University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute created CHR&R for communities across the nation, with funding from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
