This webinar will provide an overview of COVID-19 impacts and vaccination attitudes among SUD populations in Vermont including people who use drugs, patients receiving MAT, and people in recovery. It will outline the methods undertaken to conduct a community-based survey. It will discuss the barriers and opportunities that arose from analysis of the survey and a subsequent consortium workshop.

The Washington County Substance Abuse Regional Partnership located in Central Vermont conducted a COVID-19 Impact Survey in January 2021 of OUD populations. They are happy to share their survey instruments as templates. The three templates include surveys intended for 1. People who use drugs (PWUD), 2. People receiving treatment in MAT programs, and 3. People in recovery. The coalition welcomes all grantees to use and edit them as needed to modify for their partner organizations and sites.
