This session highlighted the ways in which data from RCORP consortia are used, how service capacity and access have changed, and whether there is evidence that the health status of rural residents is improving. The National CLAS Standards are a set of 15 action steps intended to advance health equity, improve quality, and help eliminate health care disparities by providing a blueprint for individuals and health care organizations to implement culturally and linguistically appropriate services. This session provided a general overview of the importance of cultural and linguistic services in behavioral health and evaluate how the CLAS standards can help improve your services.
