The MOUD Best Practices Webinar series takes a person-centered, outcomes-focused approach to presenting and discussing best practices in the use of medication for opioid use disorder (MOUD), starting with client engagement and initiation of MOUD, patient stabilization and retention in MOUD, and supporting recovery during MOUD. The focus of each presentation in the series will be on the application of best practices to meet your community’s goals for each of the three topic areas, including adapting them to your local resources while maintaining fidelity to their evidence base.
At the conclusion of Session 2 participants will be able to: describe specific best practices related to stabilization and retention in MOUD, connect best practices to the community’s outcomes and goals and adapt best practices to local needs and resources while maintaining fidelity to the evidence base

AgriSafe is a national non profit that offers occupational health and safety training for rural health professionals. Currently AgriSafe in partnership with Mississippi State University Extension and University of Mississippi Medical Center are offering Continuing Health Professional Education through four webinars listed below. One hour of continuing education is available for each webinar.
This continuing education opportunity is free to licensed health care providers in the state of Mississippi. For health care providers outside of Mississippi, the continuing education is available for $40 per CE hour.

This webinar will introduce the newest RCORP program cohorts to the RCOEs, Fletcher Group, University of Rochester, and University of Vermont. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) recently released the Calendar Year (CY) 2023 Physician Fee Schedule. This rule makes policy updates which may increase accessibility of behavioral health services and telehealth services in rural areas. CMS subject matter experts from the Hospital and Ambulatory Policy Group (HAPG) presented on the behavioral health and telehealth updates in the rule during the webinar held on Wednesday, December 14, 2022.

The University of Rochester Recovery Center of Excellence, one of three FORHP-supported Rural Centers of Excellence on Substance Use Disorder, has developed comprehensive training on the treatment of opioid use disorder (OUD) in primary care. This no-cost training prepares providers and staff to deliver evidence-based care to patients. Continuing education credits are available.
