AgriSafe is a national non profit that offers occupational health and safety training for rural health professionals. Currently AgriSafe in partnership with Mississippi State University Extension and University of Mississippi Medical Center are offering Continuing Health Professional Education through four webinars listed below. One hour of continuing education is available for each webinar.
This continuing education opportunity is free to licensed health care providers in the state of Mississippi. For health care providers outside of Mississippi, the continuing education is available for $40 per CE hour.

This webinar will introduce the newest RCORP program cohorts to the RCOEs, Fletcher Group, University of Rochester, and University of Vermont. These three cooperative agreements are charged with supporting the identification, translation, dissemination, and implementation of evidence-based programs and best practices, in addition to providing specialized TA to RCORP recipients and other rural providers.

The Federal Office of Rural Health Policy has awarded over $1 million to the Georgia Health Policy Center in a three-year cooperative agreement intended to provide nationwide technical assistance (TA) to rural health care networks responding to COVID-19, pandemic-related workforce shortages. The TA will help rural health care networks expand the public health workforce capacity by supporting job development, training, and placement in rural communities

In August 2022, HRSA announced investments of nearly $60 million in combined awards across five programs to increase access to quality health care in rural communities. These programs address workforce shortages, the sustainability of small rural hospitals, and high quality care to rural veterans.
