This webinar provided RCORP Psychostimulant Support program grantees with the tools to complete a behavioral health disparities impact statement, to support efforts to address populations in rural communities that have historically suffered from poorer health outcomes and health inequities as a part of the prevention, treatment and recovery of psychostimulants.

The Disparities Impact Statement (DIS) template is a deliverable for this project that you will be required to complete. There was a webinar discussing the DIS for all relevant cohorts on November 15, 2022. This webinar provided RCORP grantees with the tools to complete a disparities impact statement, to support efforts to address populations in rural communities that have historically suffered from poorer health outcomes and health inequities as a part of the prevention, treatment, and recovery of SUD/OUD. We strongly encourage you to review these documents or listen to the recording when it is posted to the RCORP- TA portal at a later date. This session outlined how the Communities of Practice for Rural Communities Opioid Response Program (COP-RCORP) Consortium created a Disparities Impact Statement (DIS) that encompassed four Ohio counties (Ashtabula, Fairfield, Sandusky, and Seneca) and three HRSA grants (two RCORP-Psychostimulant grants and one RCORP-Behavioral Health Support grant).

This webinar will provide an overview of COVID-19 impacts and vaccination attitudes among SUD populations in Vermont including people who use drugs, patients receiving MAT, and people in recovery. It will outline the methods undertaken to conduct a community-based survey. It will discuss the barriers and opportunities that arose from analysis of the survey and a subsequent consortium workshop.
