Project Summary
The FY22 RCORP-BHS Grant will complement past and current efforts in Valley County by bridging behavioral health care service gaps identified in the community. Efforts include implementing a behavioral health care strategic planning and execution initiative focused on delivery of proposed activities; developing a robust coordination of care model to improve service delivery and communication among providers and rural communities; establishing mobile treatment and psychological services to overcome the barriers of rural isolation or lack of transportation; implementing and coordinating family support groups to encourage a unified behavioral health community that destigmatizes seeking help; executing an anti-stigma media campaign; rolling out an evidence-based services.
