PanCare of Florida, Inc.
Project Summary
The goal of the RCORP Behavioral Health Services (RCORP-BHS) project is to improve access to and quality of SUD and other behavioral health care services in the targeted rural communities. PanCare and the Consortium partners will build on the planning and implementation grants by addressing structural- and systems-level barriers to improve rural residents’ access to quality, integrated SUD and other behavioral health care services; improving the quality and sustainability of rural behavioral health care services through supporting rural health care providers to offer coordinated, evidence-based, trauma-informed SUD and other behavioral health care services; and improving the capacity of the behavioral health care system to address rural community risk factors and social determinants of health that affect the behavioral health of rural residents. Strategies will include expansion of mobile and telehealth activities to increase access in targeted rural areas, training of MAT and other behavioral health providers, improved trauma screening, as well as the implementation of evidence-based practices shown to improve quality of SUD and behavioral health care and prevention.
