The majority (75%) of the detainees incarcerated at the Madison County Detention Center are male. With that in mind, this project will provide services to assist men with OUD/SUD in successful reentry from the Madison County Detention Center to residence in Madison County.

MCCC, in tandem with community partners representing local health departments, jails, and law enforcement, will implement the Mountain Opioid Prevention Program to improve access to, capacity for, and sustainability of prevention, treatment, and recovery services for rural, underserved individual

Expansion grant will allow us to provide MAT services in all our service areas. We have also started a reentry program at the jail for the inmates which will allow us to start Vivitrol while they are already incarcerated.

This project will target several populations within Carter County who have historically suffered from poorer health outcomes or health disparities, as compared to the rest of the target population.

Stepworks Recovery Centers' Mobile Unit Project will send a Peer Support Specialist and a Medical Assistant to rural areas in Central Kentucky. Stepworks has created a consortium of MAT providers, behavioral health counselors, and health departments with Syringe Service Programs.
