Infective endocarditis is a life-threatening inflammation of the heart’s chambers and valves that can be difficult and expensive to treat. Like hepatitis and HIV, infective endocarditis can be caused by using needles that are not sterile. The Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS) Cohort I tip sheet is a result of collaborative efforts of the NAS Cohort I grant recipients. These tips serve not only as a guiding framework for future NAS cohort grantees but also offers valuable guidance to all RCORP grant cohorts.
