Bringing Recovery Supports to Scale Technical Assistance Center Strategy (BRSS TACS) created this directory based on information obtained from state certification boards for alcohol and substance use professionals, state mental health and substance use disorder authorities, sources identified by the International Certification & Reciprocity Consortium (IC&RC), local and statewide recovery community organizations, and the National Association of State Alcohol and Drug Abuse Directors. ONDCP released a new tool to assist rural community leaders in building an effective local response to the crisis of addiction, the Rural Community Action Guide: Building Stronger, Healthy Drug-Free Rural Communities. The Guide also has a companion supplement, a listing of promising practices, included.
