In fiscal year 2022, the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) – through the Federal Office of Rural Health Policy (FORHP) – provided approximately $408 million in funding to increase health care access, strengthen health networks, and focus on care quality improvements for Critical Access Hospitals and small rural hospitals.
