This webinar provided new information on the risks and clinical challenges presented by individuals who use psychostimulants (cocaine, methamphetamine and prescription stimulants). A review of the clinical strategies that are important in working with this population were presented, including psychosocial and medication treatments for those with stimulant use disorder. Allyship includes a set of beliefs, attitudes, and actions; we will explore a variety of steps that can lead to greater empathy and better outcomes for clients, families, and communities.
