The Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS) Cohort I tip sheet is a result of collaborative efforts of the NAS Cohort I grant recipients. Drawing on the insights and experiences of our grantees, we identified 9 key recommendations. These tips serve not only as a guiding framework for future NAS cohort grantees but also offers valuable guidance to all RCORP grant cohorts. This resource aims to enhance effectiveness and increase the impact of all RCORP grantee initiatives.

This publication highlights the Coordinated Opioid Recovery (CORE) Program in three Florida counties. The program integrates a new facet of Emergency Medical Services known as community paramedics. Since its launch in 2022 in Palm Beach County, Florida, CORE has expanded to include 12 additional Florida counties and takes a coordinated approach to recovery for individuals with SUD.

This session covered how primary prevention efforts fit within each of the various stages of the Continuum of Care Model. Attendees learned how to (1) engage community stakeholders from each of the 12 sectors and (2) evidence-based practices to not only inform, but to reduce stigma and to create open dialogue as it relates to SUD.

The Buncombe Bridge to Care (BB2C): Post-Overdose Buprenorphine Field Initiation Program Toolkit was developed by Buncombe County Emergency Services Community Paramedicine and UNC Health Sciences at Mountain Area Health Education Center (MAHEC). This toolkit describes the project and protocols utilized.
