This article discusses strategies to recruit primary care providers who will implement a medication for opioid use disorder integrated care model. The Pennsylvania Project, Project RAMP, was guided by a framework highlighting design, recruitment, pre-implementation, and implementation processes. Researchers assessed whether there was a connection between buprenorphine dose and time to treatment discontinuation when fentanyl is prevalent. The results showed that a 24mg dose of buprenorphine remained in treatment longer than those prescribed 16mg. Therefore, higher buprenorphine doses could be considered to help improve treatment retention.
