RSV 2025: Breakout Session 4C - Beyond Arrest: Getting Law Enforcement Involved in Your Consortium

Description: 

This session explored strategies for building trust between law enforcement and behavioral health providers, drawing from the experience of an RCORP consortium. During the sessions, participants learned about current initiatives that have resulted from collaborations between behavioral health treatment providers, law enforcement, and the National Guard to strengthen prevention, treatment, and recovery efforts in a rural community. The discussion highlighted effective partnerships that reduce overdoses and enhance recovery planning.
