Description:
This session began with an overview of the prevalence of co-occurring disorders in children and adolescents, followed by a discussion of evidence-based treatment approaches. A panel, including professionals and a parent with lived experience, shared insights on effective intervention strategies and their experiences in interacting with treatment and support systems. Attendees gained a deeper understanding of the complexities of co-occurring disorders and the importance of collaboration among families, service providers, and community resources.
