Stress, burnout, and turnover are at crisis levels across the behavioral health, law enforcement, first response, and criminal justice sectors. Interfacing with less friction can foster better outcomes for these professionals and the communities they serve. This interactive session explored the Safety and Health Integration in the Enforcement of Laws on Drugs (SHIELD)Training Initiative’s work and how it can help improve occupational wellness and reduce addiction in the community.
