RSV 2025: Breakout Session 1A-Effective Billing and Coding to Maximize Reimbursement

Description:

This session focused on how medical and mental health clinical providers, facility leadership, and revenue cycle team members should build a shared platform of knowledge related to documenting, coding, and getting paid by 3rd party payers. A particular focus was placed on those in underserved areas, such as Rural Health Clinics and Federally Qualified Health Centers, which have unique rules to follow to accurately capture, validate, and report substance use disorder/opioid use disorder/medication-assisted treatment (SUD/OUD/MAT) patient visits and certain non-face-to-face services.
