Session Description:

• During this session, the Rural Behavioral Health Workforce Centers (RBHWCs) shared their collaborative project: a central resource hub for new workers looking to join the behavioral health workforce and a marketing campaign centering the value and roles of peer supports. In addition, 3RNet discussed resources and tools available to help rural organizations better recruit and retain behavioral health professionals in today’s fiercely competitive environment. They defined core recruiting for retention principles and lead the conversation on retention best practices to help build a sustainable behavioral health workforce for rural America.
