Session Description:

•  This presentation included an overview of the Moms Do Care EMPOWER (Engaging Mothers for Positive Outcomes with Early Referrals) program at Baystate Franklin Medical Center (BFMC). We discussed our history and program model. A special focus was placed on the ways that our program leverages the successful, evidence-based approach of our hospital and progressive community partners to address NAS. We concluded with a review of the lessons learned/points to consider for programs hoping to place peer expertise at the center of their work.
