The Rhode Island Department of Corrections provides for the maintenance and pre-release treatment for inmates prescribed suboxone. This protocol implemented in Rhode Island provides a procedure that both Nursing and Correctional Staff can adhere to for the orderly and secure issuance of suboxone.
