PRONTO Study (Partnerships for Post-Overdose Outreach): Best Practice Guidance for Post-Overdose Outreach

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) funded an evaluation study of post-overdose outreach programs in Massachusetts known as the PRONTO Study. This study group assessed the evidence on post-overdose outreach. The best practice guidelines from this study work to inform post-overdose programs who engage overdose survivors and/or their social networks following an overdose with a goal of reducing the risk of future overdose.
