Memorandum of Understanding (MOU): Agencies Preventing Youths/Families at High Risk for Suicide and/or Drug or Alcohol Overdose

This Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) sets forth the terms and understanding between the above collaborating agencies to prevent individual youths/families at high risk for suicide and/or drug or alcohol overdose from bringing harm upon themselves or others.

Background
This collaborative agreement comes about in response to a significant increase in cases of youth/young adult suicide attempts (including, but not limited to, group suicide pacts), drug overdoses and alcohol abuse issues in the Lac du Flambeau community. There is an immediate need for collaborating crisis response/treatment agencies to respond to this trend.
