Grantee Onboarding Packet for Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Rural Communities Opioid Response Program (RCORP)-Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome II Grantees

Posted 9/29/2023 (updated 3/27/2024)

The RCORP-TA NAS II Onboarding Packet is a tool to support the implementation of planned activities and to expand SUD/OUD services across the care spectrum thereby helping rural residents in communities to prevent SUD/OUD, access treatment, and move toward recovery.

RCORP-NAS II award recipients will implement activities in support of goals that target rural individuals with SUD/OUD who are at risk of becoming pregnant, are currently pregnant, and/or have recently given birth, as well as their families. RCORP NAS II grantees are encouraged to include populations that have historically suffered from poorer health outcomes, health disparities, and other inequities as compared to the rest of the population, including, but not limited to: racial and ethnic minorities, adolescents, LGBTQ+ individuals, veterans, limited English proficient individuals, socioeconomically disadvantaged populations, individuals with disabilities, individuals with a history or current risk of homelessness, individuals with prior justice involvement, etc.

We hope you find the Onboarding Packet helpful as a starting point. Our TA team is here to support you through your grant, so should you have any questions related to this document or other technical assistance needs, please do not hesitate to contact your Technical Expert Lead (TEL).
