Feonix - Mobility Rising

Project Summary

Together, the Coastal Plains Community Center (CPCC), Community Action Corporation of South Texas (CACOST), United Connections Counseling (UCC), and Feonix-Mobility Rising (FMR) have teamed up to enhance SUD/OUD services in the rural counties in the Coastal Bend of Texas, as well as break down barriers in connectivity between referral of services and the wheels to get there. In addition, as part of this proposal, faculty and experts in mobility, rural health, and substance use disorders from the Texas A&M University School of Public Health, Texas A&M Transportation Institute, and Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University will meet quarterly with practitioners to share insights, ideas, and lessons learned in the field from across the United States in enhancing services and expanding access to SUD/OUD resources.
