Project Summary

The target population will consist of individuals who are at risk for, have been diagnosed with, and/or are in treatment and/or recovery for psychostimulant use disorders; their families and/or caregivers and other community members who reside in Knox County, Ohio. The proposed project will prioritize vulnerable and high risk psychostimulant users of drugs and abused prescriptions, who inject drugs, are homeless, and at risk for overdose and infectious diseases, and involved with criminal justice system, including participants of drug court programs and inmates of Knox County Jail. The target population is expected to have a high prevalence of co-occurring SUD/OUD, mental disorders and untreated medical conditions.
