Project Summary

ConeXiones will achieve four goals toward strengthening the binational behavioral health continuum in Cochise County to reduce and ultimately eliminate psychostimulant misuse. These include: • Goal 1: Create a binational US-Mexico approach to SUD/OUD prevention, treatment, and recovery that delivers coordinated, culturally-responsive evidence-based practices supporting Cochise County residents on both sides of the border. • Goal 2: Deliver targeted psychostimulant prevention approaches that reach the County’s youth and most at-risk, hardest-to-access populations. • Goal 3: Strengthen and expand treatment, discharge planning and case management services for psychostimulant and poly-drug abuse to close gaps in access to quality services and encourage compliance among hardest-to-reach/hardest-to-serve residents. • Goal 4: Innovate recovery services so that creative, culturally responsive, effective and varied forms of support are widely available to individuals and families throughout the County.
