Project Summary

The Bighorn Valley Health Center, Inc. dba One Health ("One Health"), a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in rural Montana and Wyoming, is applying for Rural Communities Opioid Response Program Overdose Response (RCORP-OR) funds to improve access to substance use disorder (SUD)/ opioid use disorder (OUD) treatment services in a rural county in eastern Montana. We propose to create a new SUD/OUD treatment service line in our primary care site in Glendive, offering care to patients through a hybrid model including virtual care and on-site paraprofessionals.

Training: Behavioral & Non-Behavioral Health Providers

Offering certification, formalized training programs, and/or professional mentorship to enhance providers' ability to care for individuals with SUD/OUD, such as, Peer Recovery Coach certification, Medication Assisted Treatment waiver training, and Project ECHO
