MaineHealth

Project Summary

This project aims to reduce the incidence and impact of NAS in MaineHealth's Mountain Service Region by supporting access to critical care and resources for pregnant and post-partum persons with SUD/OUD, and their families. HCC will work with area healthcare providers and community partners to establish an evidence-based, trauma informed, family-centered comprehensive care model that addresses the unique needs of pregnant individuals with SUD/OUD. This care model, will align with the work being done through the Maine RMOMS Network, a MaineHealth initiative that enhances the work of local government initiatives and programs designed to strengthen the state's perinatal system of care.
