Project Summary

The University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy Program Evaluation and Research Unit (PERU), CleanSlate Addiction Treatment Centers (CleanSlate), West Branch Drug and Alcohol Abuse Commission (WBDAAC), and Community Care Behavioral Health Organization (CCBHO) established a collaborative consortium for the Clinton County Opioid Reduction and Expansion (CORE) Program. The goals of CORE are to decrease the prevalence of substance use disorder (SUD) and co-occurring mental health disorders (MH) in Clinton County, Pennsylvania by increasing access to effective evidence-based prevention, treatment, and recovery services. The target population for CORE is adults aged 18 and older with SUD/MH focusing on special populations (i.e., individuals experiencing homelessness, individuals in the criminal justice system, and pregnant/postpartum persons).
