Project Summary

Delaware County Rural Communities Opioid Response Program-Implementation (DC-RCORP) is an initiative to improve access to prevention, treatment and recovery services for individuals affected by the opioid and polysubstance use epidemic affecting rural Delaware County, Oklahoma (population 43,009). Program efforts include fostering interagency partnerships; reducing challenges in accessing local, in-county care; educating about OUD/SUD and associated stigmas; and increasing awareness of the available resources. The DC-RCORP seeks to do away with silos in healthcare, to develop functional referral policies and practices that link clients to care via a wholistic and patient-centered treatment approach, and to bring critical SUD/OUD education and awareness to the community.
