Project Summary
This Mid-Ohio Valley Rural Communities Opioid Response Program – Implementation grant for Youth (MOVRCORP-Youth) application is a collaborative effort of the Mid-Ohio Valley Health Alliance, Coplin Health Systems, Minnie Hamilton Hospitals, West Virginia University-Parkersburg, Jackson County Schools, Jackson County Drug Court, Wirt County Schools, Children's Home Society and the current RCORP consortium in the region to strengthen and expand SUD/OUD prevention, treatment and recovery services to rural adolescents (12-18), transitional aged youth (TAY; ages 16-25), and their families/caregivers with substance use disorder (SUD) and/or cooccurring mental disorders (COD). This project addresses a gap in services that is currently not being met through other services in the region.
