The overall objective of the Catskills Rural Communities Opioid Response Program is to provide evidence-based, harm reduction-focused services and education to individuals living in rural communities who are at risk for or diagnosed with SUD/OUD, and their caregivers/families (target rural population), through leveraging existing resources and expanding capacity in the areas of prevention, treatment, and recovery. Our particular focus is serving rural people who use drugs (PWUD ), the Medicaid population and those previously disenfranchised from traditional healthcare system and treatment models.
