Project Summary
The Rural Subcommittee is one of several subcommittees that sits under the larger Overdose System of Care Committee, which is focused on reducing the number of fatal and non-fatal overdoses in Delaware. The Rural Subcommittee is supported by the DE Division of Public Health, and includes a diverse consortium of participants located in or serving primarily Sussex County, in the southern part of the state. The Rural Subcommittee is developing partnerships and leveraging work underway across the state to bring a spotlight to the unique needs of southern Delaware, as well as enhance and expand services and supports for people with SUD and their families in target communities in Sussex County.
