Community Action Commission of Fayette County

Project Summary

The Faith in Recovery Coalition will serve Fayette County, Ohio will the full continuum of care for the prevention, treatment and recovery from SUD. Prevention activities include: youth coalitions, evidence-based prevention at the schools, Generation RX with the elderly, drug take back, the Sheriff Tip App, Narcan distribution and training, and an anti-stigma campaign. In treatment we will reduce overdoses by increasing MAT availability, treatment and peer workforce, reducing barriers to entry into treatment and providing those with infectious complication options to get to treatment for those and SUD through transportation. In recovery, we will increase the peer support workforce, organization of the recovery community through wellness activities and increase the effectiveness of discharge planning.
