Robeson Health Care Corporation

The project will address the needs of pregnant women, mothers, and women of childbearing age who have a history of, or who are at risk for, substance use disorder (SUD), Opioid Use Disorder (OUD), with accompanying Co-occurring Disorders (COD) and their children, families, and caregivers in the identified service area. The initiative will also build capacity in reaching underserved populations who lack advocacy at the systems level.

Gaston Family Health Services, Inc.

The objective of this collaboration is to create a consortium in which all entities are working to improve NAS incident and impact through SUD/OUD prevention, treatment, and recovery efforts for individuals and families within Cleveland County. Consortium will support the delivery of health- and human-related services for individuals of Cleveland County, especially focused on vulnerable citizens- children, elderly, disabled, and low-income families. Working to assure, enhance, and protect with a mission of creating a healthy and safe community to live.

East Carolina University

The overall goal of this project is to reduce morbidity and mortality of individuals who use opioids within high-risk rural communities in North Carolina (NC). We will work with five high-risk rural counties in NC to expand or enhance their current overdose prevention infrastructure. Specifically, we will expand access to the opioid overdose antidote naloxone by working with these five communities to implement public health vending machines (PHVMs) that dispense naloxone.

Granville-Vance District Health Department

The Project THRIVe: Treatment, Health services, and Recovery through Integrated care in Vance and Granville Counties will establish new behavioral health prevention, treatment, and recovery services for children and adolescents aged 5-17 years; provide training and peer mentorship opportunities to health care providers, paraprofessionals, non-clinical staff, and community members to improve the capacity to care for and support the target population; and ensure children, adolescents and their families have access to community resources and human services that support prevention or, treatment

Metropolitan Community Health

MCHS is establishing a new access point for MAT services in Plymouth, NC, located in Washington County. In addition to primary medical care, dental services, and 340B pharmacy, the RCORP-MAT new access point in Plymouth will provide OUD and AUD treatment services as well as behavioral health and peer support services both at the physical location of the Plymouth health center, via telehealth, and in the MCHS Mobile Unit which will be used to offer outreach services to the most rural and remote regions of the proposed service area to serve those with transportation challenges.

Gaston Family Health Services, Inc.

Expand and implement opioid use prevention and treatment strategies in Cleveland County, NC. Collaboration in mutual cooperation between GFHS, HealthNet Gaston, Cleveland County HD and DSS, and Olive Branch Ministry to provide support to combat opioid use for individuals by increasing access to prevention, treatment and recovery services for individuals with SUD/OUD.

Blue Ridge Community Health Services, Inc.

The overarching goal of this project is to build and strengthen the capacity of four counties in Western North Carolina (WNC) to ensure a whole-person-centered, community-driven, proactive approach to substance use disorder/opioid use disorder (SUD/OUD) among incarcerated and recently released individuals.
