Description:

This session offered a review of the programmatic work of the Foundation for Opioid Response Efforts (FORE), discussed different types of funding opportunities, and then used FORE’s application process as an example of applying for and receiving funding from private foundations. The presenter reviewed responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), proactive approaches, and important considerations when preparing a proposal. Approaches to grants management and grantee reporting will also be discussed. Time was be available for questions and discussion.
