Session 1: Engaging Partners with Data

OMNI Institute, in partnership with the JBS RCORP-TA team, had session one of the Data Learning Collaborative (LC). The session focused on Engaging Partners with Data. Discussion topics included the purpose of this series of data focused LCs, how to create engagement plans and craft data sharing agreements, and challenges and successes in engaging partners using data.

Session  2: Rural Data with Qualitative Data Collection

Session two focused on Rural Data with Qualitative Data Collection. Discussion topics included the benefits and challenges of qualitative data, the best qualitative data collection methods for your projects, and challenges and successes in collection qualitative data.

Session 3: Dynamic and Easy to Understand Data Visualization

Session three focused on Dynamic and Easy to Understand Data Visualization. Discussion topics included what is data visualization, how to use different data visualization tools, and best practices for creating data visualization.

Session 4: Storytelling with Data

Session four focused on Storytelling with Data. Discussion topics included the basics of storytelling with data, how to share your story, and what to include in your data story.

Session 5: Data and Health Equity

Session five focused on Data and Health Equity. Discussion topics included how to use data to expose health disparities, using data to understand health equity in small communities, and equity considerations in interpreting data.
