New Awards for Maternal and Infant Health

The U.S. Department of Health & Human services  announced approximately $4 million to four awardees through its Rural Maternity and Obstetrics Management Strategies Program to enhance access to and coordination of obstetric and maternal care in rural communities.  This announcement is part of $200 million in support for a range of maternal and infant health funding to help reduce disparities in maternal and birth outcomes, expand and diversify the workforce caring for pregnant and postpartum individuals, and support states in tackling inequities in maternal and infant health.
