Posted 7/16/2020 (updated 3/28/2024)

In this session, HRSA Regional Supervisor, Clark Conover, discussed the FY20 NHSC New Site Application cycle. Participants learned how eligible health care facilities can become NHSC-approved and the benefits of becoming an NHSC-approved site.

Health care facilities can still apply to be approved as a National Health Service Corps (NHSC) site. Eligibility includes health care sites that provide outpatient, ambulatory and primary health care services (medical, dental, and behavioral health) to populations residing in high-need urban and rural areas. Additionally, eligible site types include facilities providing general Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Treatment, a Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Program or an Opioid Treatment Program (OTP).

NHSC New Site Application Deadline Extended to August 4
