Breakout Session 8A: Effective Billing and Coding to Maximize Reimbursement (Day 2)

Description:

This session focused on how medical and mental health clinical providers, facility leadership, and revenue cycle team members should build a shared platform of knowledge related to documenting, coding, and getting paid by 3rd party payers. A particular focus was placed on those in under-served areas, such as Rural Health Clinics and Federally Qualified Health Centers who have unique rules to follow to accurately capture, validate, and report SUD/OUD/MAT patient visits and certain non-face-to-face services.
