Breakout Session 8A: Effective Billing and Coding to Maximize Reimbursement (Day 2)

Description:

This session focused on how medical and mental health clinical providers, facility leadership, and revenue cycle team members should build a shared platform of knowledge related to documenting, coding, and getting paid by 3rd party payers. A particular focus was placed on those in specific areas, such as Rural Health Clinics and Federally Qualified Health Centers who have unique rules to follow to accurately capture, validate, and report SUD/OUD/MAT patient visits and certain non-face-to-face services.
